Job Description:
DUCAB, a leading manufacturer of power cables and industrial conductors in the Middle East, is hiring skilled Electricians to support its production and facility operations at the Jebel Ali plant. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical systems, installations, and equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient manner to minimize downtime and uphold quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using appropriate testing devices and techniques
- Carry out routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for electrical tasks
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Support production teams by minimizing breakdown time and improving operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance work and equipment performance
- Coordinate with engineering teams for major repair or upgrade works
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules as directed
- Report any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor immediately
Education and Qualification:
- High school diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Technology
- Minimum 2–3 years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience
- Valid UAE Electrician license or certification preferred
- Proficient in handling electrical tools, testing instruments, and safety gear
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and manuals
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit to handle hands-on and shift-based work
