Job Description: Administrative Officer

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is seeking a diligent and organized Administrative Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office, working closely with the management team to facilitate various administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Manage and organize office operations and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data.
  • Support the HR department with recruitment processes, training, and onboarding new employees.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
