Job Description:
Priory Farm Estate, a long-established and thriving agricultural business near London, is seeking hardworking and reliable Agriculture Farmworkers to join their dedicated team. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, engaging with nature, and contributing to food production and land maintenance.
Farmworkers play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of crop cultivation, harvesting, and general estate duties. Whether you’re experienced or new to farming, full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
- Operate basic farm machinery and tools under supervision
- Irrigation, fertilising, and general crop maintenance
- Weed control and pest monitoring
- Livestock care (where applicable)
- General farm maintenance such as fencing, cleaning, and machinery upkeep
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Support seasonal farm events and activities when required
Education & Qualifications:
- No formal education required, but basic literacy and numeracy are preferred
- Previous experience in farm work is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity
- Teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Valid UK work permit or residency
