Job Description:
ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel and mining company, is looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Cybersecurity Expert to join our global IT security team based in Luxembourg. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will contribute to the protection of ArcelorMittal’s systems against cyber threats, enhance security measures, and help implement global cybersecurity strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage security measures to protect ArcelorMittal’s systems, networks, and data.
- Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans.
- Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents and threats.
- Maintain and update security policies, protocols, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to detect anomalies.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Support compliance with international cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, NIST).
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and cloud security.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
