Job Description:
PocketHealth, a Toronto-based healthcare technology company dedicated to empowering patients with access to their medical imaging records, is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Healthcare Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between healthcare providers, patients, and the PocketHealth platform, ensuring smooth implementation and customer support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for healthcare professionals and patients using PocketHealth’s system
- Assist with onboarding new hospital and imaging centre partners
- Provide detailed product knowledge and technical support to users
- Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and administrative teams to resolve user issues
- Document and track user interactions using CRM systems
- Collect feedback and relay it to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data protection regulations (PHIPA/HIPAA)
- Educate patients on how to securely access and share their imaging records
- Collaborate with customer success and sales teams to maintain high service standards
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare, tech, or support role
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging workflows is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Google Workspace
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
