LGH Hotels Management Ltd is seeking a courteous and efficient Hotel Receptionist to join our team in Peterhead, Scotland, and Cambridge, England. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and professional welcome.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Manage reservations over the phone, via email, and through online booking systems.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel services, local attractions, and transportation.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest requests are fulfilled.
  • Maintain the reception area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with a calm and problem-solving approach.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Ensure all hotel policies and security procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of hotel management software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
