Job Description:
Waldorf Astoria Kuwait is seeking a professional and courteous Front Desk Associate to be the face of our luxury hotel. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for delivering a warm welcome, ensuring a seamless check-in/check-out process, and managing guest requests with efficiency and charm. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and professional demeanor upon arrival
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently using hotel software
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests courteously and promptly
- Provide guests with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
- Uphold Hilton brand standards for service and professionalism
- Promote hotel services and upsell rooms when appropriate
Education & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus
- Previous hotel or front desk experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera)
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
