Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and best practices
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, recovery plans, and preventive care
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety guidelines
- Use electronic medical records systems effectively for patient documentation
- Participate in continuous learning, in-service training, and quality improvement initiatives
Education and Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Nursing program (BScN preferred)
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- CPR certification (BCLS); ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork capabilities
- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is an asset
