Job Description:
Qatar Airport, a key hub in global aviation and the gateway to the Middle East, is currently hiring Airport Cleaners to maintain the world-class standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility. As part of the airport support staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the airport remains welcoming, safe, and presentable for millions of passengers daily. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks across terminals, restrooms, lounges, waiting areas, and airport facilities
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and sanitized according to airport standards
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly
- Refill consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels
- Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums) safely and efficiently
- Report maintenance or repair issues to supervisors
- Follow health, hygiene, and safety protocols strictly
- Assist during emergency cleanups when needed
- Cooperate with other airport departments and security teams as required
Education and Qualifications:
- No formal education required; high school diploma is a plus
- Previous experience in commercial or airport cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Basic understanding of English; Arabic is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
