A loving and professional family in Waterloo, Ontario is currently seeking a nanny to provide responsible, caring, and engaging childcare for their young children. The ideal candidate will be warm, trustworthy, and experienced in supporting children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs in a home environment.
👶 Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
- Organize age-appropriate activities and creative play
- Support daily routines including naps, meals, and hygiene
- Assist with homework and school projects (if applicable)
- Perform light housekeeping related to child care (e.g., laundry, tidying toys)
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding child development and concerns
- Occasionally accompany children to appointments, school, or playdates
🎓 Education & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in childcare or nanny roles
- Strong references from previous families or employers
- Excellent communication skills in English
- A valid driver’s license is an asset but not mandatory
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
