Job Description:
Lightcast, a leading provider of labour market analytics and data intelligence, is currently hiring a Remote Data Analyst to support its expanding UK operations. As a key member of the analytics team, you will turn complex data into meaningful insights that inform public policy, higher education strategy, and workforce development solutions across the UK and Europe.
This is a fully remote role, ideal for professionals passionate about data and keen to work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values innovation and real-world impact.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various internal and external sources
- Interpret trends and patterns in economic and labour market data
- Create interactive dashboards, charts, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Deliver written reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
- Work with cross-functional teams including product, sales, and research
- Maintain data integrity and follow best practices in data governance
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and one or more data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with Python or R is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote team setting
