Daniel Cormier unimpressed with Brock Lesnar’s ‘SummerSlam’ performance – ‘When we clash, I’m in that ass!’

A date and place for a potential Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight clash between division champion Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar is far from being set, but that hasn’t stopped “DC” from ramping up the pre-fight trash talk.

After Lesnar coughed up his WWE belt to Roman Reigns in the main event of WWE’s big SummerSlam event inside Barclays Center last night in Brooklyn, N.Y., UFC’s latest “champ champ” couldn’t help to take a dig at Lesnar’s loss.

Cormier is an avid professional wrestling fan himself, so despite the defeat being pre-determined he can’t help but to giggle at Lesnar’s demise.

With Lesnar no longer tied down as WWE’s champion, his road back to the Octagon seems a bit more clear, though he still has to get over the biggest hurdle of all in the form of United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

Which will be no easy task.

As for Cormier, he is still riding high after knocking out Stipe Miocic at UFC 226 (see it) to claim the 265-pound belt to go along with his Light Heavyweight strap. After the win, Cormier has been the target of numerous callouts in both divisions, but he has yet to sign on the dotted line for any.
