HMP Oakwood is an innovative captivity that has been stressed by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of incarcerations as an“ emotional institution, with a culture of decency and respect. Driven by valorous leadership, excellent peer-led enterprise and outstanding operation of literacy and chops vittles ”.
Within Care and Rehabilitation Services, the gospel of our incarcerations is to rehabilitate malefactors and equip them tore-integrate into mainstream society on release. We seek to normalize captivity conditions as far as possible to reflect life in the outside community. Our end is to produce a terrain in which staff and captures feel safe and causes of captivity stress are minimized. Central to our gospel is the relationship between staff and captures. Our training and functional practices emphasize the need to treat captures with quality and respect, and G4S staff makes positive and probative connections with the captures in their care. HMP Oakwood is one of the largest incarcerations in England and Wales, furnishing places for over to roughly, 2100 Category C manly captures.
We’re looking for a dynamic existent who can work using their own action or as part of a platoon to join our presto paced Development and Assurance department. You’ll give an effective and effective administration service to the Assurance and Development platoon within the Captivity.
Key Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATOR – DEVELOPMENT, AND ASSURANCE
- Give full executive service so that the requirements of the functional/ departmental platoon are met.
- Maintain effective work systems, icing that all correspondence and attestation are dealt with professionally and that meet inspection conditions.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, journals, events, and travel arrangements icing individual and functional/ departmental objectives are met.
- Maintain comprehensive stocks of all forms and attestation needed by the function/ department so that it’s available when needed.
- Collate, produce and distribute regular and ad hoc statistics and reports so that individualizes and departments admit accurate date information.
- Deal with all routine queries so that an applicable response is handed in.
- Act in agreement with security and functional instructions at all times to insure the conservation of security within the secure terrain. (As needed by secure establishments).
- Maintain checkups, Compliance, Assurance, and Contractual conditions

The ideal seeker for this part will be an educated director and thus must be suitable to demonstrate the capability to work to tight deadlines, have a keen eye for detail and have the capability to prioritize workload and challenge where necessary. Knowledge of Development and Assurance would be profitable but is not essential. Excellent written and verbal communication chops are a must-have, as well as working proactively and using your own action. It’s crucial that you’re flexible and adaptable to deal with ever-changing scripts. The part requires an individual with excellent IT chops.

Please note that these faculties are subject to a 5 time-conformable history and the strict vetting norms set by G4S and the Secretary of State for the Home Office and are pure from the Rehabilitation of malefactors Act.
You must be eligible to work in the UK and must have been resident in the UK for a minimum period of 3 times. You’ll also need to give full details of your employment and education history for the last 5 times as part of the security webbing process for this part.
