Job Description:

Rotana Hotels & Resorts, a premier hospitality company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our maintenance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards of our luxurious properties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
• Install and repair cabinetry, doors, windows, furniture, and other fixtures.
• Perform finish carpentry tasks, including sanding, staining, and varnishing.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment used in carpentry tasks.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on wooden structures and fixtures.

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in carpentry is a plus.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in carpentry, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
