Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Prepare examination rooms, including sterilizing instruments and restocking supplies.
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to healthcare staff.
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
  • Assist with patient billing and insurance processing.
  • Provide compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families.

Education and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Nursing Assistant (
    CNA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
