Job Description:
Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), the leading Islamic financial institution in Qatar, is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager (BM) to lead the operations, sales, and customer service activities of one of its key branches in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day functions, managing staff, and ensuring the branch meets business and compliance goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage branch staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Oversee daily banking operations including cash handling, client transactions, and compliance with Shariah banking guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and corporate customers
- Monitor branch performance metrics and prepare management reports
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and internal audit requirements
- Mentor, train, and evaluate branch staff to foster a high-performance culture
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure timely service delivery
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5–7 years of banking experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of Islamic banking principles and Qatari banking regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
