As a Technician Helper, you will provide crucial support to our technical teams in installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment. Key Responsibilities
Field Support Operations
- Assist technicians in installing and maintaining telecom equipment
- Handle tools and equipment inventory for field operations
- Support cable laying and fiber optic installation projects
- Perform basic equipment testing under supervision
Site Maintenance
- Prepare work sites by setting up necessary equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicles
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of network connections
- Assist with routine maintenance of telecom infrastructure
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety protocols when working at heights or with equipment
- Wear appropriate PPE at all work sites
- Report any hazards or equipment issues immediately
- Adhere to company policies and UAE regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical fitness for outdoor work in various conditions
- Basic understanding of telecom concepts (training provided)
- Ability to follow technical instructions precisely
Preferred
- Technical/vocational certification in related field
- 6+ months experience in telecom or technical support role
- Valid UAE driver’s license (preferable)
- Arabic language skills (advantageous but not required)
