Chaos ensued last night (Sat., Oct. 6, 2018) at UFC 229 live on pay-per-view (PPV) after lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov choked out Conor McGregor in the fourth round.
Following his finish of “Notorious,” Khabib threw his mouth piece into the cage and started to yell at McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis. Khabib then jumped outside of the Octagon and started to brawl with Danis and company in the crowd.
Meanwhile, two people jumped into the Octagon and took a shot at McGregor. One of Khabib’s friends (later identified as Zubaira Tukhugov) clocked McGregor with a right hand from behind before the melee was separated. More pushing and shoving took place until both sides calmed.

Also, Zubaira Tukhugov just spent 2.5 years on the shelf due to a USADA violation, just got a visa so he could fight again, and now he just completely destroyed his UFC career by attacking and suckering McGregor. What a moron.

Following the brawl, UFC officials and Vegas police escorted Khabib out of the arena. UFC president Dana White made the decision to not put the 155-pound title around Khabib’s waist in fear of a crowd riot. There were a lot of Irish.
