The go-home RAW ahead of Hell In A Cell promised a lot after the ending of last week’s episode. Did it deliver?
RAW kicked off with Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman, who came down to the ring with all the Superstars who’d helped them attacked The Shield last week on RAW. Ziggler told the fans he’d told them so while Strowman praised the RAW locker room for helping take out The Shield.
The peace didn’t last long as Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns came down from the crowd and took out axehandles as weapons. Ziggler, Strowman and McIntyre retreated as The Sheild unloaded on the Superstars at ringside.
Authors of Pain vs Rony Ace and Nathan Bradley
The Authors of Pain came out and demolished their opponents in under 2 minutes. They toss Rony Ace and Bradley across the ring before hitting a Super Collider for the win.
Even though they’ve only taken on local talent since Drake Maverick took over as their manager, AOP have been mighty impressive in recent weeks.
Triple H addresses The Undertaker
Triple H called out the Undertaker saying he disrespected Shawn Michaels, adding that Taker hadn’t been the same since Michaels beat him at WrestleMania.
He’s added that The Undertaker was the overwhelming favourite. Triple H also said that such opinions and predictions probably didn’t bother Taker usually but Shawn Michaels’ opinion probably bothered the Undertaker.
Triple H also said that Michael’s opinion bothered the insecure Undertaker.
HHH also said he looks no further than the fact that Taker wasn’t on RAW as a sign of disrespect. He said after the four matches with Shawn Michaels and Taker between 2009-2011, Undertaker was never quite the same. He says those matches were his last epic moments of greatness.
Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre (C) vs The B-Team
Dallas and Axel got their contractually obligated rematches tonight but it didn’t start out well from them. Ziggler and McIntyre dominated most of the match except for a section where Bo Dallas pulled out some nice moves as he took the fight to Bo Dallas.
Dallas set Ziggler up for the elevated DDT but McIntyre stopped it and took Axel out with a Glasgow Kiss headbutt. Ziggler and McIntyre then hit the Zig Zag/Claymore combo for the win.

Rollins and Ambrose are backstage with Baron Corbin. Corbin says he wanted The Shield out of the building but Ambrose helpfully points out that it’s just him and Ambrose, not The Shield. They also accuse Corbin of falsifying their arrest report last week on RAW and have a Sherriff with them.
Corbin changed his tune at this and made a deal with Rollins while Ambrose and the Sherriff waited outside the room.
Corbin later made Ambrose and Rollins vs Ziggler and McIntyre official for Hell In A Cell.
Kevin Owens vs Tyler Breeze
Owens doesn’t even wait for the bell to ring and kicks Breeze in the head as he’s on the apron. Owens throws Breeze into the barricade before power bombing him into the apron.
Owens grabs the mic and says that when he left RAW two weeks ago, GM Corbin called him and said if he came back he had free reign to do whatever he wants and Owens says he chose anarchy, agony and destruction. Owens then blamed Bobby Lashley for putting Sami Zayn out of action and sent a warning.
Bobby Roode and Chad Gable vs The Ascension
Roode and Gable continued their fruitful partnership and it only got better tonight. The Ascension briefly put up some resistance, with Viktor putting Gable in a chokehold until Roode’s hot tag but that was about as threatening as they got.
Gable tagged himself in as Roode got ready to finish Viktor off and hit him with a German suplex for the win.

Ronda Rousey and Natalya vs Alexa Bliss and Mickie James
Natalya and Alexa Bliss start the action. Natalya outpowers Bliss and steps on her head. She tags in Rousey and Bliss flees to the corner and tags in Mickie James. Rousey dominates Mickie James and throws her around a bit before tagging in Natalya.
Natalya and Ronda then pay homage to Natalya’s late father Jim Neidhart as they hit the Hart Attack as we head to commercial.
fter the break, Bliss suckers Rousey out to ringside and throws her into the barricade and then the apron. James tags herself in and locked in a headlock. Rousey broke free and hit James with repeated rights and lefts before locking in the armbar for the win.

Alexa Bliss kicked Ronda Rousey in the rib as she was celebrating before running away.
Mick Foley interrupts Elias
Elias came out next and took shots at New Orleans and the New Orleans Saints to get heat. He was soon interrupted by WWE Legend Mick Foley, who was there to commemorate 20 years since his leap off Hell In A Cell.
3-time WWE Champion Foley said that Elias lacked sincerity in his voice. Elias shot back at him saying that he witnessed Foley falling off the Hell In A Cell when he was young, comparing Foley to an old sone he’d heard too many times.
Foley said that he didn’t come to talk about the past and had an announcement. Foley then revealed that he would be the special guest referee for the Braun Strowman vs Roman Reignsmatch for the WWE Universal Championship at Hell In A Cell.
Foley then informed Elias that he would be facing Finn Balor next.
